Quincy man dies after drive-by

QUINCY — A Quincy man died after being shot in a gang-related drive-by shooting on Sunday.

Edwin Cesar Davalos, 19, was shot on Fifth Avenue Southeast, according to Quincy police.

Authorities stated Davalos was sitting on the front porch of a home when a vehicle drove by and subjects fired guns at him.

Davalos went into the house, where he collapsed.

Emergency services arrived and pronounced Davalos dead at the scene.

Witnesses said Davalos and the individuals in the car are known gang members, according to Quincy police.
