ELLENSBURG - The Ephrata Lady Tigers have had a strong season to date in Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) play.

Ellensburg's has just been a bit stronger.

Last night, the host Bulldogs flexed their muscles to defeat the Lady Tigers 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-15).

"We came slow and never picked it up," Ephrata head coach Emily Peterson said. "We had plenty of opportunities, but could not convert."

Kendra De Hoog had seven kills and Heidi Buchert added five kills for Ephrata (9-6, 4-2).

Mary Asker led the Lady Tigers defense with eight digs while both Lauren Yount and Allie Duff finished with seven assists.
