Notice is hereby given that a Zone Change and SEPA Checklist were received by Grant County on October 28, 2010 from Leo Heilman. Designated Contact: Stirling Knudsen, Knudsen Land Surveying, PO Box 505, Ephrata, WA 98823 (509)754-4376; and was found to be technically complete on November 8, 2010. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of
the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: A minor zone change of a parcel with approximately 1.91 +/- acres. The minor rezone will consist of changing the zoning from Urban Residential 3 to Urban Residential 2 in order to reflect the change in the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation, a result of a land use re-designation decision made March 1, 2004. ZONING: Urban Residential 3. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: None. STUDIES SUBMITTED: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with the Grant County Code, International Building Code and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The subject area address is 7679 Wild Goose Lane NE (Cascade Valley), Moses Lake, WA and in a portion of Section 17, Township 19 N, Range 28 E, W.M., Grant County, WA (Parcel #12-1126-314). PUBLIC HEARING: Planning Commission hearing, 7 pm, January 5, 2011 in the Commissioners Hearing Room, at the Grant County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA 98823. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony.
