Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of

Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act

Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: A

Discretionary Use Permit for the first module of a biodiesel unit

for a biorefinery with eight (8) additional 30,000 gallon tanks

added adjacent to the existing building.

Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance

    Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: A Discretionary Use Permit for the first module of a biodiesel unit for a biorefinery with eight (8) additional 30,000 gallon tanks added adjacent to the existing building. This Biomass-Based Diesel Facility will produce 6 million gallons biodiesel per year from renewable biomass feedstocks. The facility will be located on approximately 4 acres of a 16.21 acre site in the Urban Heavy Industrial zoning District of Grant County. The site address of the subject area is 720 Road “N” NE, Moses Lake, WA, located in the NE quarter of S 32, T 19 N, R 29 E, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #18-0257-000 & #18-0271-008).

    After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department, Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned.
