Interested parties and prospective bidders are invited to submit a Stipulated Sum Bid to the Owner for construction of Grant County Mental Health Boarding Home.

The Owner requires the Project to be completed by September 1, 2011.

Construction Documents will be available November 8, 2010. Contractors may obtain plans and specifications from Abadan Reprographics (603 E. 2nd Avenue, Spokane, WA 99210; 509-747-2964), {or Standard} upon the refundable deposit of $100.00. General Contractors may obtain up to 2 sets and Mechanical and Electrical Contractors may obtain 1 set per refundable deposit. Plans may be viewed at Associated General Contractors (Spokane, WA), Builders Exchange of Washington (Everett, WA), Contractor Plan Center (Clackamas, OR), Hermiston Plan Center (Hermiston, OR), Lewiston-Clarkston Plan Center (Lewiston, ID), McGraw Hill Plan Center (Seattle, WA), Seattle Daily Journal Plan Center (Seattle, WA), Valley Plan Center (Seattle, WA), Walla Walla Valley Plan Center (Walla Walla, WA), and Yakima Plan Center (Yakima, WA).

The Contractor shall designate all subcontractor and supplier participants which they believe to be MBE or WBE owned businesses, or have identified themselves to the Contractor as MBE or WBE, or are Washington State OMWBE certified. The Contractor shall indicate the anticipated dollar value of each MWBE subcontract. Bids will not be rejected or considered nonresponsive if they do not include MWBE participation. Bidders may contact the Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise to obtain information on certified firms.

Refer also to other bidding requirements described in Instruction to Bidders. Bidders must submit their Bid on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may not alter this form in anyway. The

Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bids and to waive informalities.

Bidder agrees that this Bid will be valid for 45 days after submission.
