Merry Ames

Merry Ames age 73 passed away from terminal illness at her home with her loving children present on November 1, 2010 at 6:20 p.m. She was born on June 21, 1937 in Orangeville, Utah to Woodrow and Ona (Hawkes) Callahan. She was married to Norman Sumner Ames on December 15, 1958.

A long time resident of Moses Lake and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved to camping and having family BBQs and get togethers loved sewing and many crafts. She was survived by 6 living children, one deceased child (Diana Lynn (Ames) Sisich) and deceased spouse Norman Sumner Ames.

She had 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She had 7 siblings, Carolyn Brown (deceased), Beverly Callahan (deceased), Woodrow Jay Callahan (deceased) Darlene Fuller, Wayne Callahan, Lorraine Moose, and Noel Louis Callahan.

She will be loved and missed.

Arrangements are in care of Carver Family Funeral Home, Moses Lake.

Services will be held on November 13, 2010 at 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Grape Drive Chapel (925 N Grape Drive, Moses Lake.)
