MARDON - Our cool late May weather has kept an amazing "Walleye Bite" alive. Some boats in Crab Creek and especially Lind Coulee are catching and culling up to 30 fish a day. I had my second best walleye bite last Sunday, May 23 here on the Potholes. My best experience was at The Moses Lake Walleye Classic a few years ago on a stormy day with lightening striking all around us. That day we caught and released 62 walleye. Our present weather pattern is identical to that year. The Moses Lake Classic will be held next weekend, June 5-6. Contact Cascade Marina at 509-765-6718 if you're interested in trying your hand in a great Walleye Tournament.

Have a great and safe Memorial Day Weekend.
