Jesse F. Heath
Jesse F. Heath, 88 passed away, May 25, 2010 at Summer Wood Alzheimer’s Special Care Center.
Jesse was born on October 4, 1921 in Torrey, Utah. At a young age Jesse had a love of working on the farm as a farm hand in the sugar beet fields. He then went to work at the sugar beet factory. Jesse also went to a CCC camp before joining the Army in 1942. Jesse returned from the Army in 1945, he then went on to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Holland. When Jesse returned from his mission he went to work for the YMCA, it was there that he was encouraged to go to college to become a teacher. Jesse then attended BYU to get his teaching degree in Elementary Education. Jesse also worked on the farms, which was where he really loved to be.
On July 11, 1950 Jesse married the love of his life Margaret in Idaho Falls, ID. They had a two children. Jesse loved to go fishing and camping, he loved the outdoors, and to care for his garden. He would take his family every year to Wyoming for a family reunion.
Jesse is Survived by his loving wife Margaret. Son Jonathan and his wife Robyn Heath of Oak Harbor, WA. Daughter Nanette and her husband Wally Lee of Yakima, WA. Granddaughters Bethanie and Brittany Heath and Kelsey Lee. Grandson Ross Lee.
A memorial service will be held on Friday May 28, 2010 at 10 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 925 N. Grape Drive. Moses Lake, WA
