| May 27, 2010 9:00 PM

MOSES LAKE — People can draw on the street Saturday as part of Moses Lake’s Spring Festival.

The Moses Lake Museum and Art Center’s annual Chalk on the Block event starts at 10 a.m. on West Third Avenue between South Beech Street and South Ash Street.

“We supply the chalk, you bring your imagination,” Museum Curator Ann Golden said. “People have drawn everything … We’ve had dragons. People have done their names really big. The American flag is usually done. People have even traced each other and done self-portraits.”

The event is open to all ages and is free.

The museum plans to hold a children’s event along with the event, Golden said, adding the details are still being discussed.

For more information contact the museum at 509-766-9395.
