DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL:
Desert Aire Vehicle Barrier - The proposed project is intended to prohibit unauthorized vehicle use on Grant PUD owned lands by installing approximately 120 large rock boulders weighing 700 to 2000 pounds each placed 5 to 6 feet apart. Grant PUD will also install three removable locking bollards along the proposed Desert Aire/Mattawa Trail alignment (to be constructed in 2012).

Desert Aire, Grant County, Washington - From the intersection of State Highway 243 and Orchard Drive, head west on Orchard Drive for 0.4 miles where the road turns northwest. From the bend in the road, the project location is due south of Orchard Drive in the desert sagebrush steppe habitat in Sections 26 & 35, Township 14 North, and Range 23 E, W.M., Grant County, Washington.

Professional Services for Annual Audit of the
District's Financial Statements by a Public Accounting Firm
Public Utility District #2 of Grant County, Washington is seeking proposals for Annual Audit of the District's Financial Statements by a Public Accounting Firm from time awarded through calendar year 2014, RFP 430-3017.
Firms must meet a minimum set of qualifications in order to be considered for evaluation.
These qualifications are:
- Must have a license to do business in the State of Washington.
- Must agree with the terms and conditions of the draft contract.
- Must have expertise in auditing large electrical utilities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
All necessary information concerning the instructions for preparing proposals is located on the District's contracting eBid website at www.ebidexchange.com/gcpud/, RFP 430-3017. Proposals must be received no later than 2:30 p.m. on June 15, 2010.
