With near 80 degree temperatures predicted in mid-May, Potholes Reservoir is on fire. Pre-Spawn Smallmouth have been very active on Yamamoto Hula Grubs, Senkos, Crawdad DC-13’s Hot Lips and many other lures.

MARDON RESORT - With near 80 degree temperatures predicted in mid-May, Potholes Reservoir is on fire. Pre-Spawn Smallmouth have been very active on Yamamoto Hula Grubs, Senkos, Crawdad DC-13's Hot Lips and many other lures. Largemouth in the Sand Dunes are just now moving to warmer shallower spawning areas. Flippin Jig, Spinnerbait, Senko and even some top water baits have been working. Pre-Spawn bass and Post-Spawn Walleye are two of my favorite times to fish. Now is the time! Call 509-346-2651 for current water temp's.
