Dixie Dianne Moe

| May 12, 2010 9:00 PM

Dixie Dianne Moe went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2010.

She passed at her home with her husband, family and friends who loved her dearly. She was a hard worker who loved her family and touched many peoples lives. Dixie had a special place in her heart for everyone. But her grandchildren were her life. She spent lots of time teaching them how to cook, sew, and just listening. She loved to spend time on her son’s farm feeding and brushing the horses. She could always be found at local events with her daughters Shirley and Stacey cooking in the Momma D’s food stand. She fed all, even if they didn’t have money. 22 years of her life she spent with her husband Robert Moe. She shared a special bond with him. They were best friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Dixie was born in Wilbur, WA on May 27, 1943 to her parents Viola M. Nutt and Frank J. Peirpoint. She was number 9 of their 12 children, Dixie was then raised in Coulee City, WA and graduated from Coulee City High School. In 1960, Dixie completed beauty school in Moses Lake, WA. Soon after, Dixie married Stephen Brown and started her own family. Dixie is survived by husband Robert Moe and children Shirley Dianne Brown, Frank and wife Becky Brown, Stephen Brown, and Stacey and husband Brian Daniels, stepchildren Doug Brown, Todd Brown and Penny and Deann, grandchildren Holly Brown, Michael Numkena, Alyssa Ecklind, Cory Brown, Destini Brown, Deven and Dustin Brown, Breana Daniels, Kamiree Daniels, Halleaka Daniels, Taylor Jamea, and Shane, great-grandchildren Mak Sherwood and Anthony Sherwood.
