21 spots of graffiti appear in two days

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake police received 21 reports of graffiti during the weekend.
Moses Lake police Capt. Dave Ruffin said it appears some of the vandalism reports are connected due to similar language written in the graffiti, area and time frame it happened.
A large portion of the graffiti features gang names.
There were two reports of suspect information related to the tagging.
Several businesses and buildings were vandalized including Animal House, Tykes to Kids, Silver Sage Design, Pho Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant, Da Vinci by Daria, Youth Dynamics, Bank of America, Florist in the Garden, Sunland Motor Inn, A&L Compressed Gases, Papa Murphy’s, Carol’s Hair, Sinkiuse Square, Skaug Brothers, Key Bank, Baby Naturally, a vacant building on North Stratford Road, a garage in an alley on South Grant Street, a garage on South Division Street, Sage Point Elementary and a fence on Marina Drive.
The incidents were reported on Saturday.
On Friday night two male suspects were seen at Sage Point Elementary running through the school yard and leaving graffiti.
The first suspect is described as white, about 14 to 16 years old wearing blue jeans, white T-shirt, white tennis shoes with a medium build. The second suspect is described as white, 14 to 16 years old wearing a tan sweatshirt, blue jeans, baseball cap with a heavy build.
On Saturday afternoon police saw a male beginning to vandalize a fence with paint on Marina Drive. Police gave chase and the suspect fled on foot toward Broadway Avenue. He was not located.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18 to 19 years old, short black hair, black T-shirt and brown pants.
