Charlotte Teresa Phillips

Charlotte Teresa Phillips, 39, of Moses Lake, Washington, formally of Sumner, Washington and Anchorage, Alaska, passed away at home on April 30, 2010 after a 3 year battle with Breast Cancer.

Charlotte was born on June 11, 1970, in Tacoma Washington to Delores and Bob Dearing. She graduated from Sumner High School and received her Associate of Art in Business. She married Ralph Phillips of Sumner, Wa, in Anchorage, Ak, in 2004.

Charlotte loved life, loved her husband and children. She loved to camp, fish, and engage in other outdoor activities. She loved to watch Nascar with her husband, watch her son play sports and attend her daughters many plays and cook together.

She is survived by her husband Ralph Phillips, four children Trinity and Jesse Sumner of Moses Lake, Wa, and Nancy and David Haynie of Manhattan, Kansas. She is also survived by her father Richard Oswood of Sumner, Wa. One sister LeAnn McCaughey of Nikiski, Ak, and three brothers BJ, Jeremy, and Jason Dearing of Tacoma, Wa.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Moses Lake on May 6th at 2:00 p.m. In addition, a celebration of her life will be hosted by Doug and Lori Bateman at their home in Buckley, Wa. Flowers can be sent to the Bateman residence or the First Presbyterian Church in Moses Lake.
