MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake City Council voted to increase the cost of the ambulance service.
Council chose to make the change during the last meeting since the charge has not been increased since 2001.
The increased cost is a range from $750 to $950 depending on the services rendered during the ambulance call, explained City Manager Joe Gavinski.
Council set the ordinance so it is revised annually to be considered for the increase according to the Consumer Price Index, according to the ordinance.
The monthly utility fee for the ambulance, paid by city residents, is not affected nor does it cover the cost to use the ambulance.
