Jenny Beltran (Harless) Medrano

| March 31, 2010 9:00 PM

Jenny Beltran (Harless) Medrano, 64, of Moses Lake, WA fought a long courageous battle with diabetes.

Never giving up, always with a smile on her face that everyone knew and loved, with her sons by her side joined her Heavenly Father on March 27, 2010. Jenny Medrano was born August 9, 1945 to her loving parents Remigio and Refugio Medrano in Toppenish, WA. Jenny lived in Royal City, WA as a single mom. Jenny raised all six of her boys Joseph, Patrick, Eddy, Stephen, Daniel and Raymond. Her kids were her life. Jenny devoted all her time to her kids. After raising her boys, she moved to Moses Lake, WA to be closer to her family. Jenny loved to play cards, “Phase Ten.” Jenny played Phase Ten with her family all the time. It was funny watching her play cards. Jenny would always try to skip phases to win. Jenny was a good sport about losing a card game. “Not.” Jenny also loved to play Poker with her family, and trying to take all their money. Before going home to her Heavenly Father, Jenny learned a new game with dice called “Left, Right, Center.” She loved that game and enjoyed playing it with her friends and family. Win or lose, she always had a smile on her face. Jenny loved to be around her family. She was not only a mom, but a sister, an aunt, a grandma and a friend. She was a good-hearted person, and would do anything for anyone. Jenny didn’t have much, but she always said it doesn’t matter what you have in life as long as you have your family. Jenny loved to spend time with her grandkids, Nyomie, Zarek, Joey, and her little “Hello me Daddy” Gabriel. She loved to take them to the Dollar Store. Her sons, brothers, sisters, grandkids, family and friends will all miss her so much, but knowing she is in a better place and there is no more pain and suffering. If there is one thing I know about my mom, she is a fighter. She never gave up no matter what life threw at her. She faced it with a smile. She fought and held on until she went home to her family and her little baby boy “Baby Joey” who have already gone to Heaven. Jenny is survived by her family; her six boys Joseph and Patrick Harless of Moses Lake, WA, Eddy Medrano of Moses Lake, Stephen Harless of Forks, WA, Daniel Harless of Moses Lake, and Raymond Figueroa of Moses Lake. Her grandkids Nyomie, Zarek, Joey, and Gabriel Medrano. Greg, Samantha, and Nick Harless. Christopher, Alexis, and Shauntee Harless. Marian and Skyler Harless. Her sisters and brothers Ralph and Lorraine Medrano of Moses Lake, WA, Nora and Lupe Alamos of Moses Lake, Remigio Jr. and Janice Medrano of Eugene, OR. Marty and Oscar Guerrero of Moses Lake, Cuca Arreolla of Odessa TX, Vicki and John Langlot of Seattle, WA. Lupe Medrano of Moses Lake, Christine and John Mitchell of Moses Lake, and Gloria Medrano of Royal City. She also is survived by her nieces and nephews. Jenny is preceded in death by her parents Remigio and Refugio Medrano, her brothers Robert Medrano, and Emillio Medrano, her baby boy “Baby Joey” Medrano, Steve Langlot, Emillio Martinez Renteria and Elijah T. Alamos. May God Bless her soul and may she rest in peace. A viewing will take place at 10:30 a.m. followed by a mass at 1 p.m., April 5, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Rd., Moses Lake, WA.
