Jose Gabino Balderas, 49, Moses Lake resident, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake after a long battle with Wegeners disease. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 at El Sendero de la Cruz with Pastor Mike Alvarado, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Guarding Angels Cemetery, Moses Lake. Joe was born in Fresno, California to his loving parents Gabino and Guadalupe Balderas. Joe resided in Moses Lake for most of his life. In 1976 he met his sweetheart Sally Valdez and married in 1980. They had three children Joey, Ceasar and Benjamin. His occupation was a concrete finisher. He enjoyed working, drawing and spending time outdoors. But most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother Guadalupe Bazaldua-Balderas, his wife of 28 years Sally Balderas, his sons Joey Balderas (Jennifer), Ceasar Balderas (Naomi), Benjamin Balderas (Teena), his grandchildren Benjamin Jr., Andreas, C.J., Jadelyn, Jenika, Paul Anthony and Julia all of Moses Lake. His brothers Luis Balderas, Fernando Balderas (Rosa), Ernesto Balderas (Alma) and Arturo Balderas (Sonia). His sisters Maria Elena Balderas and Rosaelia Balderas all from Rosenburg Texas. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and two God daughters, Adriana and Bernadette.

He is preceded in death by his father Gabino Balderas, his grandmother Alfonsa Zamora and his grandfather Pedro Balderas. His uncles Ernesto Guriales, Johhny Zamora, Juan Gomez, Juan Gonzales and nephew Joseph Vaquez.

He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. His memory will be carried in our hearts forever.
