James Hernandez Gonzalez

James Hernandez Gonzalez 44, joined his Heavenly father on March 20, 2010 after a long battle of illness and heart failure.

James was born October 2, 1965 to his loving parents Rojelio and Mary Gonzalez, in Moses Lake, WA. James resided in Spokane, WA the last 12 years with his wife Pam Paz Gonzalez. James enjoyed fishing, baseball, and music. His favorite song was “Genius of Love” and he loved cruising in his 1963 Chevy Impala low-rider.

James was preceded in death by his mother Mary Gonzalez, his grandmother Maria Hernandez, grandfather Jesus Perez Gonzalez, and uncle Larry Mann.

He is survived by his wife Pam Paz Gonzalez and stepdaughter Amanda Paz. His father Rojelio Gonzalez, his siblings — Steve and Mona Gonzalez of Spokane, WA; Marc and Laura Gonzalez of Moses Lake; Leroy and Heather Gonzalez of Moses Lake; Melinda Gonzalez Guerrero of Moses Lake; Roy Jr and Marina Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX. His children — Monica, Nicole, and James Gonzalez, Jr. of Moses Lake; and Joshua Thayer of Othello, WA. Four grandchildren — Stephanie and Rick Ramos, and Christopher and Gabriel Corea. James was also a Godfather to four children and had numerous cousins, second-cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be held Friday, March 26th at 6 p.m. at the Gonzalez residence. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church Saturday, March 27th at 10:00 AM.
