Mae F. Felder

Mae F. Felder, 86, of Quincy passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Columbia Crest Care & Rehab in Moses Lake following an extended illness.

Mae was born September 9, 1923 to Fred and Freda (Schukar) Wenger at Carnation. She moved to Seattle with her family and attended school there.

She married Frank Felder January 27, 1945 in Seattle. She worked various secretarial jobs before leaving her last secretarial job at Boeings in 1973 and moving with her husband Frank and family to Quincy to help with the family hay farm.

Mae Felder was a member of the Tacoma Swiss Lady’s Society, Monroe Swiss Colony, Swiss Club Helvetia, Red Hat Society, George Seniors, and the George Community Hall Board.

She is survived by two sons: Frank Felder, Jr. of Stanwood and Fred and wife Lynn Felder of Quincy, one daughter, Cheri and husband Douglas Parker of Mississippi, two sisters: Rose Zindell and Frances Johanson both of Bothell, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patti, in 1963, her husband Frank in 1991.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 26, 2010 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Quincy.

Arrangements are under the direction of Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy.
