Gerald Edward Wurzer

Gerald Edward Wurzer, beloved husband of Betty Wurzer passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the age of 81 years.

Surrounded by his loving family, he passed away peacefully in Chinook Regional Hospital. Gerald and Betty had just celebrated their 62nd anniversary on March 17, 2010. Besides a devoted husband, he was also a caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Gerald & Betty lived in Warden for over 30 years., where he was employed with Skone & Connors. Upon retirement they moved back to Canada with fond memories of the many friends and colleagues they made. Gerald is survived by six children: Sharon(Jerry) Cash of Lebanon, Oregon; Edward Wurzer of Warden, Washington; Randy (Brenda) Wurzer of Lethbridge, Alberta; Karol (Perry) Miller of Coaldale, Alberta; Connie (Rick) French of Lethbridge, Alberta; and Greg (Kathy) Wurzer of Warden, Washington. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, one sister - Maxine (Robert) Todd of Prince George, B.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Gerald’s request, there will be no funeral service, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Foundation. Rest in Peace. We will always love you, you’re forever in our hearts.
