Jack Wayne Morris

Jack Wayne Morris, 69, a Moses Lake resident, passed away March 16, 2010. He is Survived by his only living sibling, Pat Morris of Portland, Or, his children, Toni Pickett of Youngsville, LA, E. J. “Jack” Morris of Moses Lake, Douglas W. “Doug” Morris of Lind, Patrick M. “Pat” Morris of Murtaugh, ID, Evelyn N. “Nikki” Morris of Puyallup, and Kelly Schroeder of Longview, along with their spouses and children. Jack is preceded in death by a step-son, Randy Smith.

He was literally a “Jack”-of-all-trades; he worked as a longshoreman, a dairy-milker, and a long-haul truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, barbecues and telling stories. He considers his friend, Raul Rodriguez, as his brother and fishing buddy. He was also known as “Grandpa Jack” and “Dad” to many people in his trailer park. He will be remembered and missed by many. Arrangements are in care of Benson Family Funeral Service, Moses Lake.
