AgFARMATION
National Agriculture Day is Saturday, March 20, and AgFARMation invites you to become involved in the project and help tell the Ag Story to people who are not involved in the agriculture. Your help is needed.
Interested individuals and businesses formed AgFARMation over 12 years ago to present factual information regarding farming and agriculture. The electronic billboard on I-90 at George was erected to disseminate credible facts about agriculture and the Columbia Basin Project area to the traveling public. The low frequency radio Station 1610, the crop signs and the Christmas lights on I-90 and highway 283 have been added to the list of projects for AgFARMation since its inception.
Attrition through members selling their farms and moving out of the area plus some deaths has taken its toll on active participants. AgFARMation is soliciting volunteers to step up and become involved in the current projects to keep factual information flowing about agriculture. All kinds of talents from all age groups and who has a desire to work and support agriculture will be welcomed. Your participation and input is needed.
