ROYAL CITY — A drive-by shooting was reported on Grape Drive in Royal City Wednesday night.
There were no injuries, said police Chief Darin Smith on Thursday. The suspect vehicle is described as a white Pontiac Grand Am.
There is a suspect, he added. The suspect’s information could not be released since the incident remains under investigation and an arrest has not been made.
The suspect car had five subjects inside, Smith said. A male in the vehicle opened fire with what appeared to be an airsoft gun.
It appears the intent was to intimidate someone rather than injure someone, he said.
A van was struck with a pellet, Smith said.
Anyone with information about the case can contact Royal City police at 509-346-2212.
