Gary Ray Fry

| March 10, 2010 8:00 PM

Gary was a charismatic man, who loved adventure and the outdoors. He was a proud father who gifted his children with a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed and the opportunity to do so. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing and camping and cherished time with his family and friends. He was a man of many great talents, a gifted woodworker, a handyman, jack of all trades and business owner; he could build or fix anything.

Gary was born October 4, 1946, in Tacoma, WA. He served 1 tour in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war. As a young man he was a founding member of the CALPENS weigh lifting club, and a long time member of Ducks Unlimited. Gary owned and operated DeltaPlumbing. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Fry. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Fry, son Kyle and daughter-in-law Sonya Fry, Gary’s daughter Stacie Fry, his sisters Karla Wollum and Tracy Niemczyk, and father Clifford Fry. Gary passed away on March 2, 2010. Gary was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. On Saturday March 20th, 2010 a brief ceremony and a potluck will be held at the Moses Lake American Legion at 2:00 p.m. Gary requested there be no services, just a quiet personal prayer. Memorial donations may be made to Ducks Unlimited in his name. Online sentiments may be journalized at www.price-heltonfuneralhome.com.
