GRANT COUNTY COURTS

| March 4, 2010 8:00 PM

I’m writing in concern of our judicial system in Grant County. I’m currently being held on a burglary, where I’m going to trial and another case of a driving while license suspended in the first degree and alleged possession of a controlled substance — meth. On the burglary, I was arrested with another person who took full responsibility and plead guilty but yet I still have to prove my innocence by going to trial and on the driving while license suspended  — first degree, given a citation and being released when another officer, over ranking the officer who stopped me, held me against my will. I’m currently waiting trial on both cases and have written statements and a lot in my defence to prove my innocence. But yet the judicial system in Grant County Superior Court fails to offer lesser deals. I was arrested July 19, 2009, under false pretenses of driving while license suspended in the first degree and on the burglary, but there is a lack of probable cause. A witness says I was a suspect due to my goatee. I write to let the public know how low our officers lack on investigating crimes, and our system finds you guilty before being innocence. I’ve been in county (jail) for seven months awaiting trial.
