New Hope

As a taxpayer, I find it appalling that a Grant County funded agency, New Hope Domestic Violence Services, will allow itself to be used by people who are abusers to exact a new and more diabolical and pervasive form of abuse on their victims. Other agencies I have been involved with, either as a client or as a member of the board, would set a policy to interview the other parties involved before providing intervention.

As a taxpayer, I find it appalling that a Grant County funded agency, New Hope Domestic Violence Services, will allow itself to be used by people who are abusers to exact a new and more diabolical and pervasive form of abuse on their victims. Other agencies I have been involved with, either as a client or as a member of the board, would set a policy to interview the other parties involved before providing intervention. I would like to warn the true victims of domestic violence in our community, that there is currently a movement afoot by abusers to attach themselves to the services available at New Hope. Put on a good act, tell a few lies and use New Hope as a weapon to persecute, prosecute, demoralize, harass, defame, and destroy you. You may be safe from the physical abuse by removing yourselves from the environment; the verbal abuse may stop with the protection order they file against you in the process of playing their game, but the emotional abuse continues with New Hope leading the assault.
