| July 22, 2010 1:00 PM

56 year resident of Moses Lake, Rolf Dilling, passed away quietly at Central Washington Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Norway in 1923, he came to the United States in 1951 as an agricultural exchange student. Rolf married his wife Tulla in 1959 and they made their home on their farm north of Moses Lake. The couple have four married children: Marta and Anders Brobjer of Fallkoping, Sweden, Harald (Huc) and Laurie Dilling of Ephrata, Lars and Sue Dilling of Achille, Oklahoma, and Erik and Kim Dilling of Wenatchee. There are 9.5 grandchildren who will miss their grandfather. Rolf cared for his family, his farm, and his community with diligent effort and compassion which reflected his love and respect for all. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and quiet wisdom.

Friends and family are welcome to the memorial which will be held on Saturday, July 24th at 5pm at the Olaf Odegaard farm in Block 40 (Moses Lake) on Rd K and 13 NE.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation (1418 S Pioneer Way, Moses Lake, WA 98837) or Central Washington Hospital Foundation c/o Comfort Care (518 N. Chelan Avenue, Wenatchee, WA 98801).
