Hinkle golf tournament begins Friday
MOSES LAKE — Bill Hinkle, CEO and co-founder of the Jennifer Dunn Leadership Institute, and currently a state representative from the 13th Legislative District, will hold his annual fundraiser barbecue and golf tournament beginning this evening.
Hinkle, who is serving his fourth term as the Minority Whip in the Washington State House of Representatives, will play host to the Bill Hinkle Invitational Golf Tournament beginning tomorrow with 8 a.m. registration and a tee time an hour later at Moses Pointe Golf Course.
Tonight at Gary Chandler’s home the barbecue is set to kick off at 6 p.m. and Hinkle said he would appreciate a donation of up to $25 but people are encouraged to come and eat regardless.
Golfers eat for free at the home of Chandler, a former legislator and current businessman in Moses Lake.
The golf tournament will be an 18-hole scramble and the entry cost is $125 per person or $400 for a four-some.
Hinkle is Chair of the Municipal Research Council, a member of the Washington State Horse Park Authority Board of Directors, and a board member of Hope Source (the local community action council in Kittitas County).
