Ronald L. Ratcliff, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the age of 78 in Moses Lake, WA.

Ronald L. Ratcliff, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the age of 78 in Moses Lake, WA. He was born July 7, 1932 in Hood River, OR to Elmer and Minnie (Hart) Ratcliff.

He was married to his loving wife Teruko, for 32 years. Ron had a great love of air planes. He became an accomplished pilot and crop duster before becoming owner/operator of Double R Spraying Service of Moses Lake, WA. His favorite pastimes were model planes, boating, fishing and growing his vegetable garden.

Ron is survived by his wife Teruko, stepdaughters Chizuko Lee (Terry) Dawson of Layton, UT, Linda (Jim) Fragola of Richland, WA stepson Michael (Leslie) Schleicher of Renton, WA; sister-in-law Helen Ratcliff of Colville, WA; five step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers and four sisters.

A family memorial is planned for a later date.
