MOSES LAKE — Kenneth G. Kern, 31, Moses Lake, was transported to Harborview Hospital for reported facial lacerations after his motorcycle crashed.

Kern was riding his 2004 Big Dog motorcycle eastbound on Interstate 90 Sunday, 10 miles west of Cle Elum, according to the Washington State Patrol Monday.

He was allegedly driving too close to a vehicle when the driver of the leading vehicle used the brakes. Kern reportedly “slammed” on his brakes, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle.

The state patrol stated Kern should be charged with following too close and driving while his license was suspended in the first degree.

He was reported to be wearing a helmet.
