Notice is hereby given that a Reasonable Use Exception application received by Grant County on June 9, 2010, from Robert Witte (Designated Contracts: Mike & Rita Witte, PO Box 145, Ephrata, WA 98823, 509-787-7081) was found to be technically complete on June 23, 2010. PROJECT: A Reasonable Use Exception to allow development of an approximately .90-acre parcel in the Rural Residential 2 zoning district of Grant County. The subject parcel does not meet the 5-acre minimum lot size requirement for this zone as defined in GCC 23.12, Table 2. SEPA: Exempt. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Building Permit. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject parcel is located approximately 1 mile west of Soap Lake, WA, near the intersection of Rd. 20 NW and Cherry Rd. NW, and in the SE quarter of Section 23, Township 22 North, Range 26 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #21-1838-000). PRESENT ZONING: Rural Residential 2. PUBLIC HEARING: Planning Commission Hearing tentatively scheduled at 7 pm on August 4, 2010, in the Commissioners' Hearing Room of Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, WA. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
