Election time

The 2010 elections are upon us. Candidates have filed and campaigns begun.

Now it is time for candidates to communicate with voters.

We offer space every Thursday for guest editorials by candidates.

There is a 500-word limit.

We are willing to run a guest editorial every other week for each candidate as space allows.

This is a chance for voters to read what each candidate has to offer in views, opinions and comments.

Voters can write letters to the editor — 300 word limit — to throw questions to the candidates.

It will be like a candidate forum in print.

We will not print anything libelous, anonymous, or in poor taste, such as insulting attacks on individuals.

We hope to encourage a dialogue between candidates and voters to help facilitate our pending elections.
