Vidal Chavez Garcia

Vidal Chavez Garcia age 66, returned home to Heaven on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. He was born September 7th, 1943 in El Limon de Cornijo, Mexico.

Vidal moved his family from California in 1978 following the migrant work. He got a job working for U&I Sugar company and decided to raise his family here in Moses Lake. After the plant shut down he found other jobs in different farms and orchards.

Vidal enjoyed fixing up old cars, having huge barbeques with live music for his family and friends to enjoy. He made many friends along his travels.

He is survived by his wife Griselda Chavez. Daughters Anna Salgado, Livier Chavez, Denise Chavez, Dalia Chavez. Sons Alberto Chavez, Gabriel Chavez, Cesar Chavez all from Moses Lake.

Daughters Lucy Chavez (Kennewick Wa) Bertha Chavez (Hayward Ca) and son Ramon Chavez from Fort Collins Co. and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grand children.

He is preceded in death by his father Fidencio Chavez, his sister Socorro Chavez de Garibay and brother Alfonso Chavez.

He will be buried in Mexico.
