One elected and one appointed position on the Warden Conservation District Board will be expiring soon. Conservation district supervisors public officials who serve without compensation and set policy and direction for the District. An applicant must be a registered voter in the District boundaries, and own or operate a farm for the appointed position. For more information, or to obtain an application, please contact the Warden Conservation District at 509-349-7539, or the Conservation Commission website at http://www.scc.wa.gov/. Application deadline for the appointed position must to the Conservation Commission no later than March 31, 2010. The election will be held February 8th, 2010 at the Pillar Rock Grill (1373 Rd F2 10NE Moses Lake, Wa) from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
