The Grant County Superior Court Clerks Office advised their arraignment has not been scheduled and they are being held without bail.

Two juveniles were also arrested for similar charges.

According to the sheriff’s office, two of the suspects allegedly entered a home on state Route 262 near Warden, in an alleged attempt to steal items from the home where a family of four was sleeping.

Once the suspects were discovered, the family attempted to barricade themselves in a back bedroom, the sheriff’s office reported. A male living in the residence told authorities he was unable to barricade the door while one of the suspect males allegedly continued to bang on the door.

The male victim opened the door in an attempt to force the suspects out. The female homeowner released the family dogs on the suspects. Two suspects in the home were forced out the front door as they allegedly yelled a gang name and profanities, authorities reported. As the male victim held the door shut, he listened as the windows to his vehicle were broken.

Deputies located a van with the suspects on state Route 17 near Moses Lake. During the traffic stop, six people were located inside and all were taken into custody. The arresting deputy claimed to see stolen property inside the van.
