Spring soccer program offered in Ephrata

Ephrata, WA – The Ephrata Parks and Recreation Department is getting ready to start up their Recreational 5 v 5 Under-11 – Under-15 soccer program.

This program is designed to give each young player more individual teaching time with the coaches, to teach the players the skills and fundamentals that are necessary for children of this age and to just have fun playing soccer.

All registrations must be completed by March 8 or a $10 late fee will be assessed.

Interested person can register online at ephrata.org or come by City Hall, 121 Alder St. SW during normal business hours — 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Practices begin the week of March 15 at the Ephrata Sports Complex.

Games will begin after spring break and the cost is $35 per player.

The program is dependent on volunteer coaches and all games are local and stress sportsmanship.
