Mrs. Moses Lake 2010 selected
MOSES LAKE — The 2010 Mrs. Moses Lake is high school counselor Patty Holloway.
The woman is competing for the Mrs. Washington crown with a platform she calls “Higher Education.”
If she wins the title, Holloway wants to stress the importance of earning a college education across the state. She wants to encourage people to get an education, regardless of socioeconomic status.
Holloway is a college graduate. She earned bachelor degrees in psychology and Spanish with a minor in special education from Central Washington University. She went on to earn a master’s degree in school counseling from Washington State University and has been a counselor with the Moses Lake School District since 2003.
Holloway works primarily with high school students and when she is not helping others, she spends time playing volleyball, reading and being with her family.
She’s been married for nearly 10 years to her husband David. They have three children; Riley, 6, Caden 4 and 6-month-old Skyler.
