Bridal show returns
MOSES LAKE — Spring brides and grooms have too many decisions to make easily, but help is available Saturday.
More than 30 businesses, offering a wide variety of products and services related to weddings, are taking part in the 12th annual Columbia Basin Bridal Show at the Moses Lake Events Center.
The center is located at 1475 East Nelson Road in Moses Lake.
The bridal show is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A wedding fashion show begins at 1 p.m. with female and male models, and the music provided by Dale Roth Productions. Admission to the show is free.
“Follow the balloons and the signs,” show director Lynn Garza said. “We will have balloons and signs all over town.”
Dresses for the fashion show are provided by Da Vinci by Dari and One Stop Bridal. The tuxes are provided by Desert Formal Wear.
The theme for this year’s show is “Something Old, Something New,” said Garza, sales manager for the Columbia Basin Herald.
The show was the focus of a special section in the Columbia Basin Herald Tuesday. The information is also available on the newspaper’s Web site at www.columbiabasinherald.com.
Garza estimates as many as 100 brides-to-be and family members are attending, meaning more than 1,000 people. They get to sample some things, such as the DJ music and perhaps some cake.
One lucky bride, or couple, will win a honeymoon stay at the Coeur d’Alene Resort on Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho, sponsored by the Columbia Basin Herald. People registering at the show are eligible to win.
