Wilford (Smokey) Card

Our Beloved,

Wilford (Smokey) Card passed away February 18, 2010 at Central Washington Hospital. Smokey was born April 4, 1933 in Bovey Minnesota to Eunice and Harley Card. He was the fifth of six children. Smokey moved to Nebraska in the 1950’s to pursue work as an auto mechanic. In Nebraska, here he would meet and marry his wife to be Darrellean Card. They have been married for 50 years. In the 1980’s, Smokey and Darrellean moved to Washington State and would settle down and retire in Moses Lake.

He loved gardening, fishing, crossword puzzles, reading and playing with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Darrellean, son Raymond and wife Patti from Florida, son Patrick and Dot, daughter Hope and Uriel, Cindy Squibb of Moses Lake, Wanda Christensen of Nebraska, 12 Grandkids and 8 Great Grandkids, Brother Francis and his wife Joan Card, Jerry and wife Roberta Card and sister-in-law Helen Card of Moses Lake. He is preceded in death by his mother and father — Eunice and Harley Card, Brothers Leroy and Lloyd Card and Sister Betty Doug Dale. At Smokey’s request there will be no funeral services. The Lord now has him in his wondrous place where we will all meet again.
