MOSES LAKE — The cremated remains of an Oregon woman were found in the Perch Point area outside Moses Lake, Feb. 12.

The Grant County Coroner’s Office seeks information to get the remains back to the family of the woman.

The woman is identified as Flora V. Brock of Troutdale, Ore. She apparently died when she was about 80 years old.

The office made several attempts to find Brock’s next of kin without success.

The remains were found in a weathered box containing identification papers, the office reported. It was determined the box had been sitting outside for quite sometime. It was located by a citizen who contacted the coroner’s office.

Anyone with information regarding the remains can contact the coroner’s office at 509-765-7601.
