MOSES LAKE — Two burglaries were reported at businesses on South Pioneer Way in Moses Lake Friday.

In the first burglary reported, someone entered the business through a locked window without breaking it.

“Once inside, the suspect broke the two cash registers and took an unknown amount of cash and checks written to the business by customers,” police reported.

The second building contains several businesses.

Someone entered the building by breaking a window, police reported. Two interior doors were damaged.

“One door was kicked in, the second door had damage to the lock,” police reported. “A desktop computer was taken from the business valued at $2,000.”

There was surveillance footage taken inside the building but it failed to record the face of the suspect.

“The only footage the surveillance camera caught was a hand with a glove grabbing the camera,” police noted. “The camera was then unplugged.”

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Moses Lake police at 509-766-9230.
