Columbia Basin celebrates Valentine's Day

COLUMBIA BASIN — Couples can chose activities ranging from dances to mystery dinners this weekend, as organizations throughout the Columbia Basin host Valentine’s Day events.

Ephrata

• Columbia Basin Hospital Foundation is having a Mystery Dinner Saturday. Wine tasting is at 5:30 p.m. and dinner begins at 7 p.m.

The event is at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, located at 520 Nat Washington Way.

Moses Lake

• The Larson Recreation Center is hosting “Nickel Night” from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The center is located at 610 S. Yakima.

• Dry Falls Cellars is having a Valentine’s Day event from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dry Falls Cellars is located at 6828 22nd Ave. N.E.

The event features a variety of wines and chocolates for attendees to sample.

• There is a Red, White, & Blue Shop event at LakeTown Landing in Moses Lake. 

Special sales are going on at participating business in the downtown area.

• Kyra Wines is hosting an event to celebrate Valentine’s Day, featuring chocolate fondue, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kyra Wines is located at 8029 Andrews Street N.E.

• Porterhouse is hosting “Dinner for Two,” featuring prime rib and Alaskan king crab. The dinner also includes soup or salad, potato and dessert.

• There is a Valentine’s Dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday at Del-Red Pub, located at 311 Main Ave. E. Steak and prawns or prime rib and prawns are available.
