Mike Gallaway

Mike Gallaway, 62, a lifelong resident of Moses Lake, died early Monday morning February 08, 2010 at his home.

He was born on February 27, 1947 at Sea Side, Oregon and was raised and educated at Moses Lake. On January 08, 1966, he married Barbara Tuttle at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The couple made their home in Moses Lake where Mike was a member of Operating Engineers Local #370.

Mike is survived by his wife, Barbara Gallaway of the family home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Guy and Robin Gallaway, Rick and Tasha Gallaway and Mark and Tracy Gallaway all of Moses Lake; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; his mother and step-father, Carmel and Stuart O’Byrne of Moses Lake; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Dick Aldrich of Moses Lake and a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Molly Gallaway also of Moses Lake. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Gallaway and his grandparents.

A funeral Service of Commemoration to Celebrate the Life of Mike Gallaway will be held on Friday February 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Evangelical Free Church in Soap Lake with Rev. Gordy Whip officiating. Concluding service and interment will be in the Valley View Memorial Park in Soap Lake. At Mike’s request, the casket will remain closed and there will be no viewing.
