Quincy vs. Ephrata staff benefit hoops game

| February 3, 2010 8:00 PM

QUINCY — It is a school and city rivalry that has played out for decades.

Ephrata.

Quincy.

Need anyone say more?

Well obviously now their teachers do.

Thanks to the efforts of Quincy High Tech High School students Colby Rodriguez and Ceaser Gonzalez, members of both school’s district certified and classified staffs will meet up at the Jacks’ gym on Wednesday, Feb. 17.

The two teamed up to make this event their senior project needed for graduation and the fruits of their labor have paid off in making the two staffs come together for a little beneficial competition.

The entrance fee per person will be either two non-perishable food items or a “coat for a kid.”

All food will be donated to the Quincy and Ephrata Community food banks.

For more information, contact Quincy High School Athletic Director William Alexander, 787-3768, for details.
