The Zamora family moved to Moses Lake in 1957 where Mario met the love of his life, Olga Lopez at MLHS. They married in 1966 and have been together for 44 years until the day of his passing.

Everyone knew Mario loved to make people laugh with his unusual dance moves and humorous behavior. Our fondest memories are at the "Zamora Park" where he loved entertaining many friends and family over the years. The park will be a legacy to our children.

As a young man, Mario worked as a farm worker for many years. Later he owned and operated Potato Diggers/trucks. In the late 1980's, Mario began work in the construction industry. He worked at the Hanford Nuclear Plant as well as REC. After retiring from the Construction Labor Union, he helped his sister operate the Lakefront RV Park for 3 years. Afterwards, he assisted his brothers Charlie and Duane at Big Max Construction.

Mario loved sports. He wrestled in school and was an avid runner for many years. He competed in many 5 and 10 K races. Mario loved to collect and sell classic cars. He had a passion for restoring them.
