Louis was a hard worker all his life. He worked physical labor for many years until a back injury caused him to change careers. He graduated from CWU in 1974 with a degree in Sociology. Louis went on to work for the State of Washington, employment security, CPS, Elderly services and move up to social service supervisor, branch office administrator, and ending his career as Grant/Adams community service office administrator.

68 years was not nearly long enough for a man who was simple, stubborn, and full of love. There were three things to be true about Louis:-His childhood molded the foundation of his being-his love for harvesting, hunting, fishing, and being right in the world. His love for others was best shown not by words but in actions he took daily. And lastly, his spirituality, while it was quiet it was deep.

There are not enough words or descriptions to fully encapsulate the heart of Louis other then saying he was a husband, a father, grandfather, boss, friend, mentor, an avid Brett Favre fan, hunter, fisherman, cook, veteran, gardener, a rock and he carried each role with pride and honor. He will be deeply missed and loved by all. 68 years was not long enough, but it was definitely lived well.
