OMAK - Ugly to one may be pretty to others.

But a 4-0 start means a team is unbeaten no matter how one paints it.

After Tuesday's 64-56 win at 1A Omak, the Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors remain unscathed and still one of the top teams at the 1B level.

"We were careless in many ways, especially on defense and with ball safety," ACH head coach Scott Isaak said. "We also shot very poorly from the line. That's a true pulse of where we are right now and that is something we have to change."

ACH led by three at halftime and slowly edged away from their hosts behind a balanced scoring attack.

Derek Isaak led the team with 30 points, while Brandon Boutain added 15 points and Thunder Wellhausen finished with 12 points.

Derek Isaak also recorded eight rebounds and five assists, Boutain had six assists, while Kye Stevens and Wellhausen finished with 10 and eight rebounds respectively.

"We didn't have an effort problem but we had a lot of energy without purpose and lacked focus," Scott Isaak said. "A win is a win especially on the road against a 1A school. You always like doing that."
