NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of

Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act

Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: To establish

a surface mine and conduct mineral extraction operations,

including: mining, screening, sorting, crushing, washing,

stockpiling, and aggregate transport.

Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: To establish a surface mine and conduct mineral extraction operations, including: mining, screening, sorting, crushing, washing, stockpiling, and aggregate transport. The project is located in the NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of S. 15, T. 20 N, R. 25 E, W.M., Grant County WA. (Parcel #15-1907-001) After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department, Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned. The public is invited to comment on this MDNS by submitting written comments to Tyler Lawrence, Assistant Planner at the above address no later than 5 pm on December 28, 2010.
