Amanda Rae (Mays) Rundell was born December 10, 1975 in Colfax, Washington. Amanda calmly passed, with loved ones by her side, into the arms of her waiting loved ones on July 15, 2010 in Richland, WA, after a short but acute illness.
Amanda attended schools in both Othello and Moses Lake, WA. After moving to the Tri-Cities area, and before settling into her favorite role of a full time mom, she enjoyed working at the Richland Branch of Yakima Federal Credit Union.
Some of her many activities included cooking, reading and gardening, but she especially loved her children and family life, staying active in her children's various school functions. She became close with her neighbors and her home quickly became a hub for the numerous children in her neighborhood.
Amanda cared deeply for others and touched many lives. She will be profoundly missed by many. She leaves behind her children; Chelsey, Levi, Tialer and Caileb, who she cherished above all. She is also survived by her beloved husband, Rian Rundell and her mother, Joanna (Archer) Mays. She was preceded in death by her father, John R. Mays.
Graveside services are to be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the family plot in Colfax, Washington with a celebration of her life planned for September 18, 2010 at the home of close family friend Richard Devin of Kennewick, WA. On-line guest book is at www.bruningfuneralhome.com
