Benefit Scramble set for tomorrow

MOSES LAKE — Tomorrow at the Moses Lake Rodeo Arena there will be a four division, Shamrock Scramble held in support of Allison Yager.

MOSES LAKE - Tomorrow at the Moses Lake Rodeo Arena there will be a four division, Shamrock Scramble held in support of Allison Yager.

Yager, a barrel racer who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, needs a sports saddle to continue to "turn-n-burn" according to an event flier distributed by organizers.

All money raised at the Scramble will go toward buying Yager a saddle and other needed equipment.

There is $1,250 in awards and prizes in all divisions waiting to be won in the Open Division, youth and juniors winners win $100 and awards.

The scramble will start at 10 a.m. and will be open to registration beginning at 7 a.m. at the rodeo arena.

A stick horse race will be held at 9:30 a.m. prior to the Scramble with the winners earning buckles and other prizes.

To enroll in the Open Division it will cost $60 per horse, for Juniors (12-and-under), and Youths (ages 13-18), it is $15, and for the Stick Horse Barrel Race (ages six-and-under) entrants pay $3.
